MP Naomi Shaban downplays Ruto-Gideon Moi feud
Taita Taveta Member of Parliament Naomi Shaban and Kirinyaga County Woman Representative Purity Wangui have downplayed the political feud between Deputy President William Ruto and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi over the failed handshake with retired President Daniel Moi.
The two claimed that that the die is cast and DP Ruto would be elected as the 5th President of Kenya in 2022.
Ms. Shaban and Ms. Wangui were speaking at Gacharage centre in Kuresoi North, Nakuru County. They were accompanied by host MP Moses Cheboi and Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika in presiding over the launch of the last mile electrification project.
MP Shaban said the differences between DP Ruto and Senator Gideon Moi will not stop Kenyans from moving ahead, saying the battles would be brought to an end soon
National Assembly Deputy Speaker Moses Cheboi encouraged locals to redouble their efforts and shun divisive politics.
Senator Kihika assured that she would be available to work with the locals in stopping the division politics.
