MP rubbishes Odinga’s graft dossier
Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau on Monday dismissed an alleged graft dossier released by Cord Leader Raila Odinga.
The legislator said the dossier was meant to tarnish the name of the Jubilee Administration at a time when US President Barrack Obama is set to visit the country.
“The president in his own wisdom decided to table the list of those people who were suspected to have involved themselves with corruption in Parliament and gave 60 days for EACC to work,” said Jamleck
The legislator is now urging the Cord leader to be patriotic and avoid playing politics ahead of President Obama’s arrival.
The former premier had said last week that he would name individuals who are involved in corrupt deals but are missing from the president’s list of shame.
Mr Odinga alleged that the list tabled by the president was highly edited to hide those involved in mega scams in the country.
He had promised to release the list this week.
