MPs defend Jakoyo Midiwo over Jubilee mole accusations

Three Members of Parliament have defended Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo over claims that he is a Jubilee mole.

Speaking during a funds drive in South Gem, the three – led by Nicholas Gumbo (Rarieda), David Ochieng’ (Ugenya) and Dennis Waweru (Dagoretti South) said that Jakoyo is a strong supporter and believer in ODM agenda and has alsways served the interests of the party first.

In his defense, Gumbo said that everyone has a right to opinion and Mr Midiwo was no exception and should not be termed as a mole.

Gumbo pointed out that in politics there are no permanent enemies hence no need to be stiff in decision making along political lines as far as development is concerned.

On his part, Ugenya MP David Ochieng said that they will soon name those making the accusations adding that everyone is entitled to their opinion but must accept criticism.

Mr Waweru – the Dagoretti South legislator – called on leaders to put an end to ethnicity and consider working together for the sake of development of the country.

Waweru added that it is about time that leaders from Central and Nyanza come together to secure this county pointing out that the development being witnessed so far was as a result of them working together.

The three further termed the leaders involved in these accusations as cowards who cannot face Mr Midiwo.
