MPs Urge President Uhuru Kenyatta to Fight Corruption


Mr Otuoma was speaking at the funeral of the late Mzee Peter Nzuki Ndeti, who is the father to CCU party Leader and former assistant Minister Hon Wavinya Ndeti, in Mua hills in Machakos County.
 
The legislator said that it appears that corruption has been devolved from the national level to counties and called on MCAs to be serious in their oversight duties to governors.
 
UNITE WITH OTHER COMMUNITIES
 
Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama who also spoke at the event added that Kenyans are tired of hearing news of corruption and it was time action was taken.
 
Land, Housing and Urban Development Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu echoed Muthamas sentiments, adding that she has stemmed up the fight against corruption in her ministry.
 
Ms Ngilu also called on the Kamba Community and leaders to unite and work together by joining with other communities.
 
Mzee Peter Nzuki was aged 105 years and had been the chairman of the Mavoko Municipal Council from 1945 to 1992.

Also present at the event was Machakos MP Victor Munyaka who called on senator Muthama to forgive Alfred Mutua
