Mudavadi: Ruto should be blamed for the problems affecting ‘hustler nation’

Amani National Coalition (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has trained his guns on Deputy President William Ruto saying he is equally to blame for the mess that  Kenya is in.

Mudavadi was speaking in Kakamega where he was attending a funeral alongside other leaders among them former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale.

“Ruto and Uhuru formed the government together, Ruto lives in a government house, gets paid by the government, all his bills are paid for by the taxpayer, what governance is this?” Mudavadi asked.

In his speech, Mudavadi appeared to suggest that DP Ruto was using proceeds of graft to dish out handouts to the electorate as he endears himself as the preffered 2022 presidential candidate.

“It is time for KRA to tell us what these people declared, we want to know where the money is coming from, we need to see these declaration forms, you are robbing us with the right hand and giving us with the left,” he said.

Ruto ally Khalwale who was in attendance seized the moment to fire shots at Jubilee party Secretary General Raphael Tuju.

Khalwale said DP Ruto cannot be bundled out of office unless he resigns or dies.

“DP Ruto cannot be removed by parliamentary debate, he would only leave office if he resigns, and he won’t resign, he would only leave is he was dead, and he is alive,” Khalwale said.

Meanwhile, DP Ruto who was in Nakuru on Saturday scoffed at his critics, saying he was surprised that people had nitpicked his wheelbarrow initiative.

“Whats the problem is we give people motorbikes or mkokotenis? If you have cars, or planes, you are okay, these poor people need these things to put food on the table, why do you have a problem,” the DP posed.
