Muite: Constitute 3 Judge Bench To Hear Media Case

This emerged during the ongoing hearing at Milimani high court presided by lady justice Mumbi Ngugi after she last week certified the case as urgent.

Justice Ngugi will issue further directions today, Tuesday.

Justice Ngugi had also ordered the merging of the case by Royal Media Services, Nation Media Group and Standard Media Group with another by Editors Guild, Union of Journalists and correspondents association.

Muite, representing the media houses, had said the Kenya Information and Communication (Amendment) Act and Media Council Act 2013 are unconstitutional as they breach media freedom.
