Multimedia University students protest alleged mismanagement

Students of Multimedia University in Rongai on Monday staged a protest against alleged mismanagement of the institution.

Students who spoke to Citizen Digital during the protest also mentioned an accommodation crisis among the reasons for their strike.

The students, who also demanded for the reduction of food prices in the university, began their protest inside the school compound before proceeding outside where they barricaded Magadi Road causing traffic snarl up.

Reports further indicate that they were also engaged in clashes with area residents.
