Murder most foul: Womans body found with deep cut on the face, sons head chopped off

A woman and her son were found dead at Joska in Machakos County on Friday.

Police officers were alerted about the incident at ACK area and rushed to the scene.

“On arrival, they found the body of the lady naked on the bed with a deep cut on the face while the body of the boy was found outside the house inside a 50-litre plastic black jerrycan with the head chopped off,” the police report reads.

The woman is said to have been 26 years old while her son was 11 years old.

Officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations were called in and they collected evidence before the bodies were moved to Kangundo Level 4 Hospital for an autopsy.

Murder weapons were also recovered at the scene of the crime.

One suspect, 33-year-old Jared Ochici Onsongo, has since been arrested in connection with the murder.
