Musyimi On Ngilu’s Woes

Musyimi says Ngilu and the commission chair Dr. Mohammed Swazuri have continued to engage in turf wars in the lands ministry at the expense of serving Kenyans.

The mp, who also chairs the lands and natural resources committee is now calling on the two to put their differences aside and deal with emotive land issues affecting Kenyans.

This comes after a legal officer was allegedly assaulted by the lands housing and urban development cabinet secretary Charity Ngilu at his office on Thursday before being physically ejected from his office.

Speaking to citizen TV on phone, national lands commission chairman Mohammed Swazuri said the officer in question, a Mr Gordon Ochieng called him and informed him how the cabinet secretary stormed into his office and after a heated debate smacked the legal officer on the face with a file.

According to Swazuri the cabinet secretary stormed the officer’s office accusing him of corruption for allegedly transferring land fraudulently.

Claims that have been out rightly denied by the minister.
