Mututho: Breakthrough In Fight Against Drug Sale

Addressing journalists in Nakuru on Sunday, Mututho sent a strong warning to those engaging in the business saying their days are numbered.

He also warned police against colluding with drug peddlers.

Mututho said that police are following crucial leads that could see the arrest of a prominent Nakuru businessman said to be involved in the trade.

Mututho confirmed that police had made some arrests in connection to the issue but failed to divulge more information saying that doing so would jeopardize ongoing investigations.

He said that NACADA will soon be receiving specially trained dogs from Israel which will be used in the fight against drug trafficking.

The NACADA boss called on members of the public to collaborate with the police in order to apprehend those selling drugs to students.

Mututho visited Nakuru Central police station after the arrest of  prime suspects over the weekend.
