Mwea A No-Go Zone For Vehicles Ferrying Miraa

Residents of Mwea have now declared the Embu-Makutano route a no-go zone for any vehicle ferrying Miraa to Nairobi. Angered by Tuesday's accident that killed a man and his wife the residents threatened to set on fire any Miraa vehicle found using the road. Evelyn Wambui spoke to the neighbors and friends of the deceased couple and also spent time along the Embu-Makutano road where she witnessed how Miraa vehicles are driven.
