My life in in danger, Aisha Jumwa claims
Kilifi women representative Aisha Jumwa claims her life is in danger after she allegedly received death threats through her mobile phone.
Speaking to journalists after recording a statement at Kilifi police station, Jumwa claimed that a man only identified as Waithaka is allegedly behind the threats.
“I am asking the IG and security in Kilifi to take this matter seriously,” said Jumwa.
Kilifi governor Amason Kingi and area Senator Stewart Madzayo have called on police to provide more security to the Women representative due to the death threats.
“We don’t want to hear tomorrow that Aisha is no more. We want to ask the police to be alert. Even if it means that security will be added for her,” said Madzayo.
