Mystery as Indian man found dead at Homa Bay hotel

Police are probing the mysterious death of an Indian man whose body was found at a Homa Bay hotel.

The deceased, identified as 49-year-old Manmeet Sign Sadhu, was found laying on the floor inside his room at Takawiri Island Resort on Tuesday morning.

According to Homa Bay police commander Marius Tum, his wife discovered the body with foam oozing from the mouth.

Mrs. Katri Sadhu became concerned when her husband took too long to come from their room so she went to look for him.

The door was locked from the inside and when she tried knocking there was no response.

She asked for help from the management who resorted to breaking down the door.

When they gained access, they found the man on the floor.

The county police boss told Citizen Digital that the deceased arrived at the resort on Monday at around 1 pm from Kisumu.

He is said to have eaten lunch and indulged in alcohol late into the night: a guard then escorted him to his room.

Officers from Mbita Police station have launched investigations into the man’s death.
