Mzazi Willy Tuva among Influential People in Africas Music Industry?

Tuva, a TV and Radio presenter of the popular Mseto East Africa show, was named among the most influential people in the music industry in Africa.

Tuva was the only personality from East Africa in the international four judge panel.

Together with MTV's Jasmine Dotiwala (TV, Radio and Print Press broadcaster), Trace Urban's Phil Nwankwo and STEP-Angola's Karina Barbosa, Tuva spoke to Namibian musicians about how to succeed in the Pan African Music industry.

FUSING CULTURE WITH MODERN SOUND

'I learnt a lot during my time in Namibia. I think Kenyan artists should emulate what Namibian artists have done in terms of fusing their culture with the modern sound of hip hop and RNB,' said Tuva.

'The performances were exquisite, the sound was perfect and the stage was just world class,' stated Tuva.

The star studded event saw the best of Namibia artists perform in the event.

'As ever, the sheer world class standard, of both the show and performers, blew me away.’

‘With a huge stage, striking set, incredible graphics and lighting as well as hug screens and camera cranes, this was one expensive, well organised event, one that surpassed expectations,' noted Jasmine Dotiwala.

Tuva is recognised as an influential man in the music industry is East Africa, but the rest of Africa is quickly taking note.
