‘Nagging’ nanny slashed by husband calls him a killing machine

The 87 year old woman who was attacked with a panga by her 90 year old husband has described him as a killing machine.

Patricia Njeri Njoki says that she is not the first victim her husband, Sebastian Njagi, has attacked with a panga.

Njeri, speaking from the hospital bed at Consolata Mission Kyeni hospital, claimed that the other victims her husband had attacked had succumbed to injuries.

The 87 year old said that after successfully serving a jail term, Njagi kept reminding her what he is capable of.

Njeri said that she had been keen not to provoke him.

According to Njeri, her husband came home and immediately started ranting about how she was his downfall.

She went on to say that her husband attacked her without any warning prompting her to scream for help.

According to Embu East OCPD Njoroge Mbugua, police are waiting for the 87 year old to improve and doctors to fill the P3 form in order to know the extent of the injuries inflicted.

The police boss said the panga used to hack the granny has been recovered and will be used as evidence in the cases.

The 90 year old man told the police that he had attacked her with a panga because she was nagging.

Njagi told the police that he intended to kill his wife.
