Nairobi ODM youth official shot dead

Nairobi Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) youth official Stephen Mukabana is dead.

Mukabana was  shot dead a few meters from his house in Nairobi’s Kayole estate.

The ODM youth official was shot  as he reportedly helped a victim of robbery in Mihango area.

The man he was helping was also shot but is in a stable condition at the hospital.

Mukabana was also the chairman of BamahoYouth Group, a land buying and selling company in Njiru.

Police have launched investigations into the incident.

Mukabana came into the limelight when he pushed for elections to pick the Nairobi County youth leadership in March.

He argued that failure to conduct the poll could cost ODM votes in 2017.
