Nakuru: Man, 73, charged with assaulting 6-year-old

A 73-year-old man has been charged with assaulting a six-year-old girl in Kambi ya Moto in Nakuru county.

Nakuru High Court Principal magistrate Joe Omido heard that Rono Chumo lured the child with sweets before  pouncing on her.

She screamed for help and neighbours responded and Chumo was allegedly nabbed on the act.

The father of five was released on a Ksh.200,000 bond.
