Nakuru: Man found dead in his house

A 28-year-old man was on Wednesday found dead in his house at Ngala Estate in Nakuru Town East Constituency, Nakuru County.

According to locals, Martin Matheya was in good health the previous day and his demise came as a surprise to them.

Close relatives of the deceased as well as neighbors have recorded statements with the police on the same.

Nakuru OCPD Samuel Obara said investigations had been launched to establish the cause of the death.

“We received reports and went to the scene. Up to now we are still treating the incident as sudden death until investigations are complete to determine what led to the death” said OCPD Obara.

The incident comes just a day after a police officer in Njoro, Nakuru, shot dead his girlfriend before murdering himself over a relationship dispute.
