Nakuru: One suspect shot dead, two arrested in botched robbery attempt

Administration Police officers at Kihingo centre in Nakuru County early Monday morning thwarted a robbery attempt and shot one of the suspects dead.

The officers, who were acting on a tip-off, also arrested two armed suspects while five others escaped and are currently being sought after.

Locals who spoke to Citizen Digital decried an increasing level of crime in the area saying even their shops had previously been broken into and their animals stolen.

They also stated that the crime had escalated to violent robberies, further praising the police officers for their swift response.
