Nakuru woman raped, stoned and killed in horror attack

A middle-aged woman was reportedly raped, stoned and killed in a  horror attack at Mariakani Estate, Nakuru County on Monday.

The woman’s naked body was discovered lying in a pool of blood on Mawanga road by passersby mid-morning on Monday.

The victim is believed to have been raped, stoned and killed by her aggressors at 1am Sunday night.

“Her face was deformed following the brutal smashing, and a huge stone had been placed on her lifeless body, when we discovered it Monday morning. Residents claim they heard the woman screaming in agony but did not respond to her distress call,” said Kiamaina Ward MCA Isaac Wahome aka Jambo Kenya.

“It is sad, neighbours acknowledge they heard her scream for help but they did not do anything to rescue her. Seemingly, the woman was kidnapped, raped and stoned in another area before her body was dumped in Mariakani Estate,” added Wahome.

Police collected the woman’s body from the scene at 11.00am Monday, and moved it to the Nakuru Municipal Mortuary.

Confirming the incident, Nakuru OCPD Samuel Obara said investigations into the woman’s death have been launched.
