Citizen Digital understands that the Narok Stadium was renamed the William Ole Ntimama stadium ahead of the rally in honor of the late former Cabinet Minister.

Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed said the stadium had been renamed following consultations between her ministry, the County Government of Narok , the National Government and the Maa Community Leaders.

12 Governors among them Alfred Mutua( Machakos), James Ongwae (Kisii), Alex Tolgos (Elgeyo Marakwet), Joseph Jama Ole Lenku (Kajiado) and Anne Waiguru (Kirinyaga) had arrived at the venue by 11am.
