NASA MPs storm Jubilee presser over ‘tea’ remarks – VIDEO
There was drama on Thursday evening after some NASA allied politicians stormed and disrupted a Jubilee Party press conference in a Nairobi hotel.
The team, led by Mathare MP Anthony Tom Oluoch and Kibera MP Ken Okoth, were angered by statements made Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen that they (NASA politicians) were waiting for him to pay for their “tea” at the Panafric Hotel.
Murkomen, while trying to say that politicians, despite party affiliation, are friends, said that the NASA politicians were in the hotel waiting for him to pay for their tea.
A few moments later, the politicians, who said that they had paid for the grounds that Murkomen, Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja and Nominated MP Jennifer Shamalla were using for their press conference, stormed the presser and took over live on TV. The Jubilee politicians were forced to leave and came back after the NASA leaders had taken and ranted over Murkomen’s remarks.
Things then turned ugly when Oluoch was involved in a fist fight but it was quickly settled.
