NASA united to the end Wetangula

Reported by Dismas Nabiswa

National Super Alliance (NASA) Co-principal Moses Wetangula has told the ruling Jubilee Party (JP) that no plot shall sabotage the unity of the opposition coalition.

The Senate Minority leader, who was speaking at Nyabururu Catholic Church after attending a service, assured all NASA supporters that the four co-principals would remain united regardless of who will be chosen as the coalition’s flag bearer in the coming General Election.

“Jubilee should stop asking NASA to name its flag bearer every now and then. It is none of their business. They should [worry about] their JP matters and leave us to choose our presidential candidate,” said the Ford Kenya Party leader.

On his part, Kakamega Senator Dr Bonny Khalwale told JP leaders to stop telling Kenyans that former Premier Raila Odinga, who is among the four co-principals eying to be NASA’s flag bearer, is old and therefore not fit for office, giving examples of Nigeria’s Muhammadu Buhari, 74, and USA’s Donald Trump, 70, who have both upset the odds by winning their respective elections.

Kiminini Legislator, Chris Wamalwa, said that the coalition will remain intact and that whoever will be chosen as its candidate will be the savior of the common mwananchi from an Uhuru-led administration that has sidelined the less-privileged in society.

The three were in Kisii County to receive Kitutu Chache South Lawmaker, Richard Onyonka, who was defecting from ODM to Ford Kenya, for fear of being ‘rigged out’ in the upcoming party primaries.
