National Assembly, Senate Resume Sittings Tomorrow

The resumption of the house sittings starts on a dull note following the killing of Kabete Member of Parliament, George Muchai, on Saturday morning.

Mps are expected to vet Joseph Kipchirchir Boinett for the position of Inspector General of Police to take over from David Kimaiyo who resigned late last year.

The Senate Finance and Budget Committee chaired by Mandera Senator Billow Kerrow will be expected to table its report on a petition presented to it by Narok resident Joseph Ole Kaaria.

The petitioner asked the Senate to investigate alleged grand corruption in revenue collection within the mara game reserve that has been at the center of the ongoing conflict in the county.
