Navio Speaks Out about Attack on his Mother

Speaking for the first time since the attack, Navio said men entered his mother's house where she was staying with his cousin.

His mother and cousin fought off the attackers and suffered hand related wounds.

In the message to Mseto's Mzazi Willy Tuva, Navio said nothing was taken from the house as his mother and cousin made enough noise to scare the intruders away.

“Anything else you have heard about the situation is false. Every picture you have seen is pulled off random crime scenes on the internet,” wrote Navio.

“My mother is stable and strong and has already been discharged,” said Navio.

“We can all learn from the bravery they have shown and I'm proud to called her my mother,” said he.
