Neighbour Faints After Wind Blows Off Classrooms
Speaking to the press, the deputy head teacher of Hyuga Girls Primary School Ms Luley Abdullahi said the roofs of four classrooms were blown off just moments after classes began.
She said, although, no pupil in the school was injured following the incident, a teenage girl from a family neighbouring the school fainted as a result of shock due to the impact of the roof landing to the ground.
The teachers at Hyuga Girls primary school are now appealing to local leaders and education stakeholders to quickly intervene because there are no other extra classrooms in the school for pupils of class four and three whom their classes were affected.
