New Wambora Impeachment Motion

The Embu County assembly will on Tuesday debate a fresh impeachment motion against Governor Martin Nyaga Wambora, just a week after the High Court quashed his earlier removal. 22 out of 33 members of the county assembly signed the notice of motion to resend Wambora home, for alleged gross violation of the public finance laws and the constitution. But as Francis Gachuri reports, Wambora’s attempts to reconciliation proved futile, after they walked out on him.
