Nine suspected gang members arrested in Nakuru, drugs seized
Police in Nakuru have arrested nine suspects believed to be members of a notorious gang known as ‘Confirm’ that has been terrorising residents of the area.
Confirming the arrest, Nakuru Deputy County Commissioner Eric Wanyonyi said the nine were reigning terror in Kivumbini, Flamingo, Rhonda and Nakuru West areas.
The deputy commissioner said the nine were found in possession of drugs including cocaine, bhang estimated to be of a street value of Ksh.43,000 and two mobile phones.
The suspects are also said to have been defrauding unsuspecting victims through mobile phone.
The nine are in custody pending arraignment.
