Nkaissery’s wife hospitalised hours after husband’s death
The wife of the late Interior CS, Joseph Nkaissery, Hellen Nkaissery, has been admitted to a Nairobi hospital with high blood pressure, Kajiado Central MP Elijah Memusi has confirmed.
Speaking at the Lee Funeral Home Saturday, July 8 morning, where the late CS Nkaissery’s body was moved, Memusi said Mrs Nkaissery is responding well to treatment and that her condition has been stabilised.
Memusi claims Mrs Nkaissery developed a high blood pressure after receiving the heartbreaking news about her husband’s demise.
Leaders continue to make their way to the Lee Funeral Home, as they join Nkaissery’s family and Kenyans in mourning the late CS.
Rongo MP, Dalmas Otieno, has eulogised Nkaissery as a leader, who went about his responsibilities with great astuteness.
Nkaissery died Saturday morning after he was admitted to the Karen Hospital in Nairobi for a check-up, the State House announced.
According to a statement by Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service, Joseph Kinyua, Nkaissery fell unwell and was rushed to the city hospital for check up but passed on a few hours later.
According to sources, who spoke to Citizen Digital Saturday morning, Nkaissery became suddenly unwell at 1:00 am, was taken to the Karen Hospital at 1:30 am Saturday where he passed on at around 3:00 am.
He died aged 67.
