No conjugal rights for men without voters card Aisha Jumwa

Kilifi County Women Representative, Aisha Jumwa, has asked all young ladies and women countywide to reject all men dating them without voter registration card.

Speaking at a press conference in Malindi, Jumwa asked all boda boda riders to desist from carrying passengers who have not registered as voters.

She asked the Malindi registrar of persons to take all the National Identification cards (IDs) to the owners in their local locations instead of keeping them in offices.

Jumwa further asked the companies and industries in Malindi to give their workers an off day to register as voters and if they cannot, then the IEBC officers registering voters be allowed to go into those companies to register the voters.

Jumwa was accompanied by Nixon Muramba, Kakuyuni Member of County Assembly (MCA), and David Gitau, a senior officer from the registrar of persons Malindi District.

They urged the residents to register as voters earlier instead of waiting to register on the last day of the voter registration exercise.
