No foul play in death of Nkaissery, autopsy shows
A team of pathologists has on Monday ruled out foul play in the sudden death of the late Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery Saturday with preliminary autopsy showing he suffered a heart attack.
Dr Charles Kariuki said the artery supplying the wall of his heart was severely compromised and only allowed “a small volume of blood to pass.”
However, the team said more tests will be conducted.
The doctors said heart attacks can be triggered by anything including old age and high blood pressure although “It is unusual for a man of Nkaissery’s age to have a heart attack.”
