Northern Kenya Leaders to Record Statements Over Nadome Massacre

Led by West Pokot Senator John Lonyangapuo, Tiaty Member of Parliament Asman Kamama, his Kapenguria counterpart Samuel Moroto and Samburu North’s Alois Lentiomanga are expected to appear before at the CID offices to record statements over the recent killings in Nadome, Baringo county that claimed at least 54 lifes.

The leaders are expected to brief the CID officers on what they know about the recent attacks and the long standing hostilities between the Turkana, Pokot and Samburu communities.

They were summoned yesterday after bandits attacked the Nadome village in Baringo county on Tuesday killing 54 people, majority of them being women and children.
