Now Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula want to meet President Kenyatta

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said that together with his two other NASA co-principals, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, they are seeking to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Kalonzo says that when the three will try and get an appointment with Mr. Kenyatta when he comes back from his three day official trip to Cuba.

“Because we believe in constructive dialogue, kutokana na yale Raila alituelezea, huenda Wetangula, Mudavadi na mimi, tukikubaliana, tufanye kikao na President Uhuru Kenyatta sisi watatu ili tuskie upande wake… akikubali tutamuona, akikataa hatuwezi mlazimisha,” said Mr. Musyoka.

While supporting Raila Odinga’s meeting with President Kenyatta last week and calling for truce, Musyoka said they can work together with the government and still remain as one party.

“The intention is that NASA will stay as NASA, you can in opposition and work because this is one country, lakini tumekubali… If our captain ametupa kofia pale, facts speak for themselves,” he added.

Mr. Musyoka at the same time said he was the one who originated the dialogue talk after he came back from Germany only for Mr. Odinga to beat him to meeting with the president.

There have been rumours of disquiet in the coalition after Mr. Odinga met with the president alone without even informing his co-principals who were caught blindsided.

There was a NASA retreat on Monday where Mr. Odinga told the party leaders about his meeting with the president and what they discussed and agreed on.
