Nyamira leaders out to popularize Jubilee Party

A section of Jubilee Party leaders from Nyamira County have embarked on a party popularization mission to consolidate support for President Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of the August 8 General Election.

Led by the East African Member of Parliament, Joseph Kiangoi, and former Kitutu Masaba Member of Parliament, Walter Nyambati, and Dr Erneo Nyakiba and Charles Mochama, the Jubilee leaders vowed to ensure President Kenyatta and his deputy, William Ruto, are re-elected when Kenyans go to the ballot.

Addressing Jubilee Party delegates in Borabu Constituency, the leaders urged the Kisii community to rally their support behind Jubilee government and accused the opposition of spreading politics of malice and propaganda.

At the same time they assured the residents that they will remain united and vowed to support whoever wins in the forthcoming party nominations to ensure Jubilee takes all the seats.

The leaders also asked President Kenyatta to ensure that the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Nyamira are fully compensated.

They further accused the County Government of Nyamira of misappropriating public funds by sending over 300 delegates to attend the Naivasha meeting while other counties were represented by only 20 participants.

Nyambati criticized the county government of corruption for allegedly procuring cameras at inflated prices.
