Nyamira Man Murders Wife, Converts Grave To Bed

The couple had been married for only one month before the man allegedly turned against her and murdered her.

After killing the wife, the suspect used the grave as his sleeping place.

Confirming the incident, Nyamira OCPD Rico Ngare said Daniel Nyabuti allegedly murdered his 21 year old wife Faith Nyanchama the on February 7th this year in Esamba Village, Bosamaro location Nyamira county a month ago and buried her body in their matrimonial house
 

POLICE CASE

Ngare said the suspect is in police custody and will be arraigned in court.

Ngare, who led a team of police officers to exhume the body from the house, said police had launched investigations into the matter.

The man had buried the body inside their house and concealed the grave with seat cushion and used it as his bed for a month.

According to the parents of the deceased, they raised concern when they realized their daughter was missing from where she had been married and reported the matter to the police.

The search for their daughter ended at the suspect’s home where they found the body buried in the house.

The decomposed body was exhumed by Nyamira police on court order and taken to Nyamira mortuary.
