Nyando MP Fred Outa has dismissed social media reports that he perished in a road accident alongside his driver.

Outa says he is a live and termed the reports as malicious.

The MP says he was astonished with the report that went viral and caused a lot of anxiety to his family.

He says that with the help of relevant authorities, he will track down the source of the information and prefer charges.

Speaking to the press in Kisumu, Outa said this is the second time reports on social media have ‘killed’ him.

He read political malice in the reports saying that his competitors will use all moves but will not succeed.

Outa, who has announced his intention to contest for the Kisumu Senatorial seat in 2017, said his ambition will not be jolted.

He assured his supporters and constituents that he is safe.
