Nyanza residents accorded Uhuru first-class reception – Official
The National Alliance party secretary general has hailed Kisumu residents for the good reception they accorded President Uhuru Kenyatta when he visited lakeside city on Friday
Speaking to the press in Kisumu soon after President Kenyatta left, TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo said that he has observed political maturity among the region’s politicians during the visit.
According to Oloo, Nyanza populace will greatly benefit from the Jubilee government if they continue to show the same generosity whenever the president visits.
Oloo hoped that the warm welcome the president received from Nyanza residents will motivate him to continue visiting Kisumu thus offering developments ideas for the region.
President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday visited Kisumu where he received a rousing welcome.
Speaking in Kisumu on Friday, the president said Kenyans are one people and they should not let petty politics divide them.
Uhuru urged the city’s residents to be wary of leaders who peddle divisive politics as this does promote development.
