Nzomo Vetted By Education Committee

Nzomo who is a former director of the Kenya Institute Of Curriculum Development, told the parliamentary education committee that she will come up with a policy on recruitment of teachers to avoid corruption during the process.

Nzomo also promised to sensitize teachers on their relationship with students to end cases of teachers affairs with their students.

The education committee which is led by Muranga women’s representative Sabina Chege has until Thursday to present its report on the nomination of Nzomo to the National Assembly.

The National Assembly had previously rejected President Uhuru Kenyatta’s nomination of Kiragu wa Magochi as chairperson of the commission due to lack of merit.
