ODMs Bid To Oust Mungaro as Party Whip

Coast Cord members of parliament have defied Raila Odinga’s directive to pick among themselves a replacement for Gideon Mung’aro as minority whip in the national assembly, over the Kilifi North mp alleged party disloyalty.  The lawmakers accuse cord of being dictatorial, even as it emerged that Mung’aro’s removal was almost certain. But as Odinga cracked the whip on mps perceived as disloyal, President Uhuru Kenyatta hosted Kwale County mps, among them the cord lawmakers deemed to be too cosy with the government.
