ODM’s Malindi candidate dismisses fake paper reports

The ODM candidate in the forthcoming Malindi Parliamentary by-election William Baraka Mtengo has vowed to sue those he says are behind allegations that he did not have the necessary academic qualification to vie for a Parliamentary seat.

Addressing a rally attended by several ODM elected leaders from the Coast, Mtengo dismissed reports published in a local newspaper alleging that he had forged his academic papers. ODM leaders have dismissed the claims as cheap propaganda meant to tarnish the name of their party’s candidate.
