Ogieks win case on Mau resettlement

The Ogiek community is celebrating a major fete after winning a suit against the government of Kenya at the Arusha-based African court. In a landmark ruling judges affirmed the government violated the Ogiek’s right to live freely on their ancestral land, in the Mau Forest.
