One shot dead in Nairobis Umoja estate
A suspected gangster was Monday night, February 12, gunned down at Bee Centre in Umoja 2, Nairobi.
The suspect, together with three others who managed to escape, were robbing members of the public at gun point before they were accosted by police near Harry’s Tavern entertainment joint at around 11pm.
Kayole OCPD Joseph Gichangi said they managed to recover a homemade gun and several rounds of ammunition.
He further confirmed that a manhunt had been launched for the suspects who escaped.
The OCPD called on area residents to continue being vigilant and report all insecurity cases.
