Oscar Pistorius Found Guilty Of Manslaughter

The athlete was found not guilty of the serious charge of premeditated murder after the judge ruled that the prosecution had not proved its case beyond reasonable doubt.

The judgment whose reading began on Thursday was delivered to a tense court, with the athlete sobbing through a large part of the session.

The judge is expected to deliver a sentence on the charge later today, Friday.

The athlete faces a jail term of up to fifteen years for culpable homicide.
