Over 30 people injured in Mombasa accident

More than thirty passengers were injured after a bus they were travelling in overturned several times in a Mombasa accident.

According to Changamwe OCPD Peter Omanwa, the driver of bus which was heading to Mombasa island from Nairobi lost control.

The vehicle overturned causing heavy traffic jam along the busy Port Reitz Road.

He said said six people who were rushed to various hospitals after the Mombasa accident were in critical condition.

Omanwa added that the vehicle belongs to Mombasa Raha bus company.
