Over 45 Kenyans win big in ongoing Skiza Chapaa promotion

Bernard Wafula from Bungoma and Beatrice Weyu from Kakamega each walked home with Ksh 50,000 after participating in the promotion.

The two are the 34th and the 36th winners of the promotion.

Some 46 winners have so far been awarded each Ksh 50,000 – and there is much more to be won.

Wafula and Weyu also had a chance to greet and meet their favourite gospel musician Mercy Masika in our Citizen Studios.

“I didn’t expect to win all this money, or even meet my favourite artist Mercy Masika,” said a jubilant Wafula who hails from Bungoma.

Wafula – a sugarcane farmer – said he was going to use the money to buy seedlings and till his land in readiness for planting next season.

Gospel musician Masika, known for her hit songs Asante, Huyu Yesu, Mwema, Sito Aibika, and a wide catalogue of other hit songs, thanked Skiza Na Citizen for giving artists a platform to give back to their fans – and diligently supporting their work.

Skiza Chapaa seeks to promote local artists by delivering great value to Skiza customers. Participants are awarded Skiza points based on the number of Skiza tunes one downloads.

There are two daily draws of Ksh 50,000 each, and two monthly draws of Ksh 100,000 each. A grand prize of Ksh 1 million will be awarded to the lucky winner at the end of the promotion.
