Pain of Jiggers

At least eight primary schools in Samburu County are experiencing low pupil’s attendance blamed on jigger’s attacks. Many pupils have been forced to stay away from schools owing to the condition that has affected their ability to walk to school and also concentrate in class on the few occasions they make it there. Residents of Maralal are now urging the government and other organizations to come to their aid and assist them eradicate the jiggers menace in the county
