Pastor arrested over claims he defiled primary school boys

A pastor at the Christ of King Church at Gachororo in Juja and one member of his congregation were arrested on Sunday for allegedly defiling boys of a nearby primary school.

The two have reportedly been defiling the boys inside the church after the children came from school.

One parent told Citizen Digital that she learnt that her 9-year-old son had not attended classes after a neighbour’s child reported the matter to her.

She immediately inquired from the boy who revealed that he was at the church engaging in the unlawful act at the time.

The boys told their parents that they have been passing by the church after school on their way home.

The angry parents reported the matter to Juja Police Station and later to Gachororo Primary School management, where the boys attend school. 

The boys were then taken to the church where they identified the two suspects.

The boys were taken to the Thika Level 5 Hospital where they were treated. The school’s deputy head teacher Peter Njoroge confirmed that they are now receiving counseling.

Police confirmed that the suspects will be arraigned in court after investigations into the matter are concluded.
