Paul Mwangi who conned victims more than Ksh.16.9M arrested

Paul Mwangi Warutere, a suspected fraudster has been arrested by detectives from the DCI from his hide-out in Ngong.

According to a statement posted on Twitter by the DCI, Warutere has defrauded his victims by duping them into funding a non-existent Word Health Organisation (WHO) container supply contract.

The scam which was executed between July and August this year involved more Ksh.16.9 million.

Warutere also has other cases pending in court; detectives say the Milimani court is yet to determine a case in which he is alsoi accused of defrauding another victim a clean Ksh.13.7million.

He will be arraigned in court on Monday.
