Peter Kenneth wants business community to lead graft war
Former Kenya National Congress Party leader and governorship aspirant, Peter Kenneth, has challenged the business community to blacklist corrupt colleagues engaging in graft.
Speaking in a Mombasa on Friday, December 9 during a business awards ceremony organized by the Kenya National Chambers of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), Kenneth said corruption impedes development and that every sector has a role to help end it.
The former Gatanga lawmaker also called on business regulatory agencies to deny licenses to firms colluding with corrupt cartels to loot public funds.
On his part, the KNCCI boss, Kiprono Kittony, announced plans to establish a special committee to fight corruption among its members.
