PHOTOS: Chopper delivers KCSE exam in Mwingi after flooding
After Monday’s incident where a vehicle ferrying KCSE examination papers to a school in Mwingi Central, Kitui County, was swept away by floods at River Karura, Tuesday’s exam papers were delivered by a helicopter.
According to Mwingi Central Deputy County Commissioner David Rotich, Kiswahili paper III and Geography paper I exams were delivered to Wikithuki Secondary School and several others using a chopper, to avoid Tuesday’s scenario.
Students in the school were forced to start their exams late as a result of the incident.
The ill-feted Land-rover vehicle is still stuck in the river, with police expected to tow it out today.
